CONFERENCE: Public Private Partnership (PPP) Body of Knowledge (3P Book) International Conference

1303-UCLan-conf-CRPDAn International Conference on Public Private Partnership (PPP) Body of Knowledge (3P Book) will be held at Westleigh Conference Centre, Preston, UK from 18 to 20 March 2013.

PPPs are now commonly adopted worldwide to advance economic growth, development and infrastructure delivery while achieving quality service delivery and good governance. In this context this conference will explore on-going research in PPP across a range of diverse issues, covering ten themes:

  • Decision Models/ Frameworks
  • Policies and Strategies
  • Implementation – Needs and Issues
  • PPP Markets
  • Financing
  • Performance
  • Risk Management
  • Sustainability of PPP projects
  • Governance and Institutions
  • Managing Change and Innovation

The event is organised by the University of Central Lancashire  and its Centre for Sustainable Development (CSD) based in the School of Built and Natural Environment, European Cooperation in Science and Technology  EU COST Action TU1001 (more info, and CIB TG72 (Conseil International du Bâtiment, or International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction). It is also supported by HKU CICID – Centre for Infrastructure and Construction Industry Development (CICID) of The University of Hong Kong.
