Nottingham building achieves a BREEAM Outstanding rating
The University of Nottingham’s Energy Technologies Building has been awarded a BREEAM Outstanding rating, making it one of the first research-led laboratory buildings in the UK to achieve this.
This exemplar low carbon building, dedicated to the research and development of sustainable energy technologies, is also home to the UK’s first hydrogen refueling facility.
The BRE (Building Research Establishment) Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) is the world’s leading design and assessment method for sustainable buildings. A BREEAM Outstanding rating is the highest possible for environmental sustainability.
