The climate change we all contribute to will be here at least 50,000 years or more…

From 1850s, the greenhouse gas emissions released to the atmosphere have contributed to a warming of 1.1C (or 1.2C) now.

In 2030, unless the governments take urgent action to reduce emissions, as in COP28 in Dubai. UAE, it is likely to pass 1.5C.

Today, we emit greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere. How many years it will contribute to climate change?

50,000 years. Probably far longer. That’s what the four academics at the University of Leicester, UK say.

Think global (as in COP28), act local, save the planet.
